Faith & Family
Melorosa’s roots began in Cuba and have since grown into the United States. In 1970, Kasi’s grandparents defected from Cuba to America with their six daughters to chase the American Dream. Faith, Family and an abundance of love supported their escape from the Castro regime as they sought a better life in the land of the free. The heart of all family celebrations, sharing food and wine among their family meant more to Kasi’s grandparents who sacrificed everything.

A Legacy in Every Bottle
Melorosa is born out of this yearning for freedom and an abiding love for family, honoring their legacy with every bottle. The name is a testament to our family’s legacy of fun, loving, and hard-working freedom-seekers.
“Melo” is Kasi’s mother’s maiden name, honoring her Abuelo & Abuela. “Rosa” is Kasi’s middle name which honors her grandmother, “Abuela Rosa” – the loving, selfless, caring matriarch of our incredible family.
As you share Melorosa among those you hold dear, just like our family does, we only ask one thing as you celebrate: to make a toast to freedom.

Our Californian Sauvignon Blanc is from noble grape variety that produces our crisp, dry wine, which display aromas and flavors of lime, grapefruit, green apple, fig and melon.
